Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
