And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night.
