And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
