Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish until the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a bare desert whilst he was sick. 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 (Gabriel said to the Prophet): 'Each of us has a known place. 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
