Hizb 46
< random >
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 Glory be to Allah (for freedom) from what they describe; 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 And there were those who said, 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 and see them [for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
