Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 We made a plant of gourd grow up for him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 we are the rangers, 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our punishment? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from them, 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 and praise be to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
