And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them in vain; that is the opinion of those who disbelieve then woe to those who disbelieve on account of the fire. 27 Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidun (those who associate partners in worship with Allah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), as the Fujjar (criminals, disbelievers, wicked, etc)? 28 (This is) a Scripture that We have revealed unto thee, full of blessing, that they may ponder its revelations, and that men of understanding may reflect. 29 And We gave unto David Solomon; how excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 30 [and even] when, towards the close of day, nobly-bred, swift-footed steeds were brought before him, 31 he said, "I have put the love of good things above the remembrance of my Lord," until [the sun] disappeared behind its veil and the horses disappeared from sight, 32 Bring them back unto me; and he set about slashing their legs and necks. 33 We tried Solomon by placing upon his throne a [lifeless] body; and thereupon he turned towards Us]. 34 He prayed, "Lord forgive me! Grant me such power as no one after me will have -- You are the Most Generous Provider." 35 We subjected the wind to him, so that it blew gently at his bidding, wherever he directed it, 36 And also the Shayatin (devils) from the jinns (including) every kind of builder and diver, 37 And others fettered in chains. 38 We told him, "This is Our gift to you so give them away free or keep them as you like". 39 And indeed for him in Our presence are, surely, proximity and an excellent abode. 40
