Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best. 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 and other such torments. 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64
