And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 We gave him back his family and doubled their number as a blessing from Us and as a reminder to the people of understanding. 43 [And finally We told him:] "Now take in thy hand a small bunch of grass, and strike therewith, and thou wilt not break thine oath!" for, verily, We found him full of patience in adversity: how excellent a servant [of Ours,] who, behold, would always turn unto Us! 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And call to mind Ishmael and Elisha, and every one who [like them] has pledged himself [unto Us]: for, each of them was of the truly good! 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages. 52 This is what is promised you for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 This - let them taste it: scalding water and corruption. 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 They shall say: Nay! you-- no welcome to you: you did proffer it to us, so evil is the resting-place. 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
