And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 [and thereupon was told:] "Strike [the ground] with thy foot: here is cool water to wash with and to drink!" 42 And We bestowed his household to him and one more similar to it – as a mercy from Us, and as a remembrance for the people of intellect. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 LET [all] this be a reminder [to those who believe in God] - for, verily, the most beauteous of all goals awaits the God-conscious: 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are opened for them, 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They will say: our Lord! whosever hath brought this upon us, unto him increase doubly the torment of the Fire. 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
