Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
