Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say, "It is great news 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
