Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 from which you turn away. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
