Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
