Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
