Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 yet you ignore it. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
