So will he whose bosom Allah has opened up for Islam – he is therefore upon a light from his Lord – ever be equal to one who is stone hearted? Therefore ruin is for those whose hearts are hardened towards the remembrance of Allah; they are in open error. 22 Allah has sent down the best discourse, a Book, consimilar in its oftrepeated (verses) that the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble; and thereafter their skins and hearts soften to the Remembrance of Allah. Such is the Guidance of Allah, whereby He guides whosoever He will; and whosoever Allah leads astray, he has no guide. 23 Is he then, who will strike his face against the awful doom upon the Day of Resurrection (as he who doeth right)? And it will be said unto the wrong-doers: Taste what ye used to earn. 24 Those before them rejected (prophets), therefore there came to them the chastisement from whence they perceived not. 25 God made them suffer humiliation in this life. Would that they knew that the torment for them in the next life will be even greater. 26 Indeed, We have struck of every manner of parable for mankind in this Koran in order that they will remember. 27 a Quran in Arabic, free from any ambiguity -- so that people may be mindful. 28 Allah presents an example: a slave owned by quarreling partners and another belonging exclusively to one man - are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know. 29 Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die. 30 Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord. 31
