۞ Who does greater evil than he who lies against Allah and belies the truth when it comes to him? Is there not a lodging in Gehenna (Hell) for the unbelievers? 32 He who brings the truth and verifies it, -- such are the people who are God-fearing. 33 For them is whatever they wish, before their Lord; this is the reward of the virtuous. 34 that God may acquit them of the worst of what they did, and recompense them with the wages of the fairest of what they were doing. 35 Is God not sufficient (support) for His servants? They frighten you with what they worship besides God. Who can guide one whom God has caused to go astray? 36 whereas he whom God guides aright can never be led astray. Is not God almighty, an avenger of evil? 37 And verily, if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" Surely, they will say: "Allah (has created them)." Say: "Tell me then, the things that you invoke besides Allah, if Allah intended some harm for me, could they remove His harm, or if He (Allah) intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His Mercy?" Say: "Sufficient for me is Allah; in Him those who trust (i.e. believers) must put their trust." 38 Say: 'My people, act according to your station; I am acting; and soon you will know 39 Who it is unto whom cometh a doom that will abase him, and on whom there falleth everlasting doom. 40 Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs. 41
