The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning hours 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
