And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire while they are [driven] assembled in rows, 19 when they reach it, their hearing, eyes and skins will testify against them for what they were doing. 20 They will ask their own skin, "Why did you testify against us?" They will reply, "God, who has made everything speak, made us also speak. It was He Who created you in the first place and to Him you have returned. 21 You did not hide your (doings) so that your ears or eyes or persons should not testify against you. In fact you thought that God did not know the things you used to do. 22 "But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!" 23 In this state, whether they bear with patience (or not), Fire alone shall be their abode. And if they seek to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so. 24 ۞ And We have assigned unto them some companions who made fairseeming unto them that which was before them and that which was behind them, and justified upon them was the word pronounced on the communities of the jinn and mankind who passed away before them; verily they were the losers. 25
