Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
