Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

He who is negligent to remember the Merciful One, to him We assign a satan as his boon companion, 36 Devils divert men from the [right] way, while they think that they are rightly guided. 37 Until when he comes to Us, he says: O would that between me and you there were the distance of the East and the West; so evil is the associate! 38 And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment. 39 Can you make the deaf to hear, or show the blind, and those lost in clear error, the way? 40 Whether We take thee away, We shall take vengeance upon them, 41 or We shall show you what We have promised them; for surely We have complete power over them. 42 Therefore hold fast to what We have divinely revealed to you; indeed you are upon the Straight Path. (The Holy Prophets can never go astray). 43 It is a (source) of greatness for you and your people. You will surely be questioned about it. 44 And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint aliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" 45
