O My worshipers, there is no fear for you on this Day, nor will you grieve 68 For (those of) you on that day who believed in My revelations and submitted. 69 'Enter Paradise, you and your wives, walking with joy!' 70 Therein are brought round for them trays of gold and goblets, and therein is all that souls desire and eyes find sweet. And ye are immortal therein. 71 this is the Garden which you will inherit by virtue of your past deeds, 72 Ye shall have therein abundance of fruit, from which ye shall have satisfaction. 73 Lo! the guilty are immortal in hell's torment. 74 It shall not be abated from off them, and they will be therein despondent. 75 We never wronged them, but they themselves did the wrong. 76 And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain." 77 We have certainly brought the truth to you: but most of you have an aversion for the truth. 78 What! have they settled some plan (among themselves)? But it is We Who settle things. 79 Or do they think that We do not hear their secret talks and their whispering counsels? Yes, indeed We do and Our messengers (i.e., angels) are with them, writing. 80 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “If supposedly, the Most Gracious had an offspring* I would be the first to worship!” (*Which is impossible) 81 Exalted be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, above what they attribute to Him. 82 So leave them alone to indulge in their vanities and to frolic about until they encounter that Day of theirs against which they have been warned. 83 And it is He who in heaven is God and in earth is God; He is the All-wise, the All-knowing. 84 And hallowed be He unto whom the dominion over the heavens and the earth and all that is between them belongs, and with whom the knowledge of the Last Hour rests, and unto whom you all shall be brought back! 85 And those whom they call upon besides Him have no authority for intercession, but he who bears witness of the truth and they know (him). 86 Yet if you ask them: 'Who created you' they will say: 'Allah' How then can they turn away from Him? 87 And for his saying, 'My Lord, surely these are a people who believe not' -- 88 yet pardon them, and say, 'Peace!' Soon they will know. 89
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
