The food of the Zakkum tree 43 The food of sinners. 44 It will be like molted brass which will boil in the bellies 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59
