To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; on the Day when the Hour comes, those who follow falsehood will be the losers. 27 You will see each community kneeling down; and each community will be summoned to its ledger (of good and evil deeds). You will receive upon that day your recompense for what you had done. 28 This is Our Book. It will tell you the truth. We have made a copy of all that you have done. 29 Then as to those who believed and did good, their Lord will make them enter into His mercy; that is the manifest achievement. 30 But as for those who disbelieved (it will be said to them): "Were not Our Verses recited to you? But you were proud, and you were a people who were Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals)." 31 When it was said that the promise of God is true and that the Hour would inevitably come, you said, "We do not know what the Hour of Doom is, we are suspicious about it and we are not convinced". 32 The evil of what they had done will become clear to them, and they will be seized by what they had scorned. 33 "We shall ignore you today," they will be told, "as you had forgotten the meeting of this Day. Your dwelling place is Hell, and there is none to save you: 34 This because you laughed at God's revelations and were taken in by the life of the world." So they will neither be taken out of it, nor will be asked to seek God's favour on that day. 35 So to God belongs praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, Lord of all Being. 36 His is the glory in the heavens and the earth. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 37
