Muhammad (Muhammad)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds. 1 As for those who attained to faith and did righteous works and believed in what was revealed to Muhammad -- which indeed is the Truth from their Lord -- Allah has remitted their evil deeds and has set their condition right. 2 This is because the disbelievers have followed falsehood and the believers have followed the Truth from their Lord. Thus God explains to the human being their own prospects. 3 When you meet those who deny the truth in battle, strike them in the neck, and once they are defeated, make [them] prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as an act of grace, or let them ransom [themselves] until the war is finally over. Thus you shall do; and if God had pleased, He would certainly have exacted retribution from them, but His purpose is to test some of you by means of others. As for those who are killed in God's cause, He will never let their deeds be in vain; 4 He will guide them and improve their condition; 5 And cause them to enter the garden which He has made known to them. 6 Believers, if you aid Allah, He will come to your aid and will plant your feet firmly. 7 But as for those who are bent on denying the truth, destruction will be their lot, and [God] will make their deeds come to nothing. 8 That was because they were averse to what Allah had revealed; so He let their works go to waste. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen what was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them completely and a similar (fate awaits) the disbelievers. 10 This is because Allah is the Supporter of the believers, whereas the disbelievers do not have any supporter. 11
