We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And one part of him will say: "This it is that has been ever-present with me!" 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' 29
