Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 and those speeding along with ease, 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Verily ye are in a divided opinion. 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
