We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
