We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
