We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). 60
