With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
