Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
