(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
