Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides. 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
