۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
