Al-Najm 3 of 3
Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 Thamud, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
