The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
