To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell. 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
