Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
