The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
