Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
