Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone that is thereon will pass away; 26 There remaineth but the Countenance of thy Lord of Might and Glory. 27 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 30 Soon shall We settle your affairs, O both ye worlds! 31 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 32 O company of jinn and men! If you have the power to go beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them: you cannot pass out but with [Our] authority. 33 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten brass shall be sent against both of you, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 36 And when heaven is split asunder, and turns crimson like red leather -- 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 Neither man nor jinn will be questioned on that day about his sin. 39 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 42 This is hell, which the criminals deny. 43 They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water. 44 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 45

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
