When God said: "O Jesus, I will take you to Myself and exalt you, and rid you of the infidels, and hold those who follow you above those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. You have then to come back to Me when I will judge between you in what you were at variance." 55 And as for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers." 56 But those who believe and do righteous deeds, He will reward them in full. Allah does not love the unjust.' 57 These verses that We read to you are signs and reminder full of wisdom. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 This is the truth from thy Lord, wherefore be thou not of those who dubitate. 60 Those who dispute with you concerning him after the knowledge has come to you, say: 'Come, let us gather our sons and your sons, our womenfolk and your womenfolk, ourselves and yourselves. Then let us humbly pray, so lay the curse of Allah upon the ones who lie' 61 Most surely this is the true explanation, and there is no god but Allah; and most surely Allah-- He is the Mighty, the Wise. 62 If they turn away (remember) God knows the mischief-mongers. 63
