Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
