▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 abounding in branches -- 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
