The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 And shade extended 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 on raised couches. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
