The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On studded thrones. 15 facing one another. 16 Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And clustered plantains, 29 And extended shade, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 on raised couches. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
