The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 And made them virgins, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
