The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water poured out 31 and abundant fruit, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 and upraised couches. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
